Hormones and clusterheadache

As of September 2022, a new study has started: '(Sex) Hormones and Cluster Headaches'. With this study we want to investigate the role of (sex) hormones in cluster headache. To this end, we want to compare the hormone values of people with and without cluster headaches.

Hemiplegic migraine (HM)

Several studies are being conducted at the LUMC into hemiplegic migraine. At the moment we are not looking for participants for these studies.

CREW Study

There is an increase in relatively young women with a cerebral infarction. The CREW-MIST study investigates why these women have a greater risk of this. For the study, women between the ages of 40 and 60 who have either had a stroke (cerebral infarction) or who have a stroke and migraine are compared with women who have not had a stroke or TIA.
